Mentor Arabia participated in the launch of the SDG4 Regional Coordination Mechanism for the Arab Region (RCM-AR), organized by UNESCO on 8 October 2026. The mechanism brings together Arab education ministries and national commissions, United Nations agencies, regional and international organizations, and civil society and youth organizations to coordinate efforts towards SDG4, the global goal on inclusive and quality education.

The session outlined the mechanism’s priorities for the coming period, including developing a unified Arab regional vision for the education agenda beyond 2030, ensuring a strong Arab presence in global education dialogues, and strengthening capacity building, experience exchange and communication among members.

Discussions also highlighted the role of members in sharing good practices and national data, and in supporting the meaningful participation of youth and civil society in regional dialogues and consultations, so that their voices inform education policies across the region. The mechanism was presented as a shared platform that belongs to all its members.

Mentor Arabia was acknowledged among the youth and civil society organizations taking part. Its participation reflects its continued commitment to amplifying young people’s voices in education dialogue and contributing to regional efforts that advance quality education and youth empowerment across the Arab region.
