About the Program

“R.E.A.D.Y. to Overcome” is a psychosocial support (PSS) program that uses arts and crafts as means to develop social-emotional skills with a focus on expressing emotions.

The program aims to build a Resilient, Empathic, Aware and Dynamic Young generation able to overcome stressful


  • Capacitate children with the knowledge and social-emotional skills to express themselves and better cope with their emotions while passing through stressful times
  • Enhance parents’ positive parenting skills, especially following a traumatic event

  2. Build the capabilities of program coordinators from leading partners
  3. Identify and contact schools or Community Based Organizations

  7. Implement a positive parenting workshop with parents
  8. Coach the facilitators throughout the implementation
  9. Monitor and Evaluate the program
