On the 24th of February, Mentor Arabia participated in the webinar “Reducing Drug-Use-Related Offenses Through Health-Centred Approaches,” organized by ISSUP in collaboration with PRO Youth.

The session highlighted the shift from punitive responses to health-centred, evidence-based approaches in addressing drug-use-related offenses. Experts emphasized the importance of prevention, treatment, and cross-sector collaboration between health and justice systems to reduce recidivism and support long-term recovery.

The discussion reinforced the need for policies that prioritize rehabilitation, social reintegration, and community well-being; principles that align closely with Mentor Arabia’s commitment to youth development and prevention.
