On February 17th, Mentor Arabia participated in the launch event of the Y-Impact Program Launch, held at the Grand Serail in Beirut, in collaboration with the UNESCO Regional Office for Education in the Arab States and the American University of Beirut.
The event brought together key stakeholders from academia, civil society, and the private sector to introduce the Y-Impact Program, an initiative designed to empower youth to drive positive social and environmental change through innovation and entrepreneurship. The session highlighted the importance of equipping young people with practical skills, mentorship, and opportunities to translate ideas into impactful ventures.
Discussions emphasized the role of cross-sector collaboration in fostering sustainable development and supporting youth-led solutions to pressing community challenges. Speakers also underscored the need for structured programs that combine education, experiential learning, and access to networks to maximize youth potential.
The launch reinforced the value of investing in youth as agents of change, an approach that aligns closely with Mentor Arabia’s mission to empower young people through evidence-based programs, capacity building, and strategic partnerships that promote resilience, leadership, and long-term impact.
