On November 14th, Mentor Arabia, in collaboration with Lebanese Spotlight hosted the Youth Peer Mentoring (YPM) Program Matching Event in Lebanon, bringing together mentors, and mentees for a dynamic and inspiring gathering that marked the official start of their shared mentoring journey. The event served as a key milestone in building meaningful connections, fostering trust, and setting the foundation for impactful peer-to-peer support.
Participants were introduced to Mentor Arabia, Lebanese Spotlight, and the vision behind the YPM Program through engaging presentations and a recap video showcasing previous program successes, helping mentees understand the value and purpose of the mentorship experience ahead.
A highlight of the day was the interactive Bingo activity, where mentees paired with their mentors in a lively, hands-on challenge designed to strengthen communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. The school playground came alive with energy as participants moved between stations, formed new bonds, and encouraged one another in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and collaboration.
More than just a gathering, this matching event set the stage for a purposeful mentoring journey where young people connect, learn from one another, and develop the skills to positively influence their communities.
