On May 29, 2025, Mentor Arabia and TUI Care Foundation organized the second edition of the Rising Entrepreneur Award under the TUI FutureShapers Program in Tunisia, celebrating young women entrepreneurs driving innovation in sustainable tourism.
Following Youth Peer Mentoring sessions and the Threads of Entrepreneurship course, participants developed and submitted 44 business ideas, with 10 finalists pitching before a panel of judges at the University of Monastir. Four winning projects—MatchLocals, Compo-Bin, Tomorrow Was Yesterday, and Elapoudra—each received seed funding and one-to-one coaching sessions to bring their ideas to life.
The event reinforced the program’s mission to empower young women with the skills, confidence, and resources to turn their ideas into impactful, sustainable enterprises.
