From June 17 to 19, 2025, Marwa Yehia, Programs Associate at Mentor Arabia, took part in the Line Up Live Up (LULU) Training of Trainers organized by the National Mental Health Programme at the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), as part of the regional “Youth4Impact” program.

The LULU program is an evidence-informed, sport-based life skills initiative designed to strengthen youth resilience to crime, violence, and substance use. The training targeted 21 professionals working with youth aged 13 to 18 in sports, educational, and community settings, and equipped us with the tools to implement the program directly with youth groups.

As part of the next steps, Mentor Arabia will commit to conducting the 10 sessions of this program with youth aged 13 to 18 years old. This initiative is highly relevant to Mentor Arabia’s mission, as it provides a structured and engaging approach to building critical life skills among adolescents; skills that are essential to prevention and youth empowerment. The program’s practical and evidence-based methodology also complements our broader efforts in promoting well-being and resilience in regional communities.
