From July 8 till July 10, Mentor Arabia proudly took part in the first-ever European Prevention Curriculum (EUPC) training conducted in Lebanon, organized by the European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), under the EU4Monitoring Drugs (EUMDII) initiative.
Delivered in Arabic by certified regional trainers, the three-day training marked a milestone in promoting science-based drug prevention in the country. It introduced participants to the latest international and European quality standards, tools, and strategies to implement effective and impactful prevention policies and programs across schools, families, communities, and workplaces.
Participation in this training further strengthens Mentor Arabia’s commitment to championing evidence-based and evidence-informed approaches to prevention, while supporting national efforts to promote youth well-being and resilience. This strategic step positions Lebanon, and Mentor Arabia, at the forefront of regional efforts to integrate global best practices into local contexts for more sustainable, data-driven prevention systems
