As part of its ongoing mission to empower youth across the Arab region, Mentor Arabia launched the Community Entrepreneurship Program in partnership with Akhlaquna, training a group of aspiring young changemakers in Qatar. The program, targeting youth aged 18 to 30, was designed to equip participants with essential life skills, entrepreneurial knowledge, and the ethical foundations needed to create impactful, values-driven social initiatives.
Through an interactive training journey combining face-to-face workshops and online learning, Mentor Arabia guided participants from idea development to pitch readiness. As a result, 22 young participants developed innovative, community-oriented initiatives addressing local challenges.
The program culminated in a pitching event, in the presence of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser and Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden. Five finalists presented their social business ideas to a panel of experts, showcasing the creativity, commitment, and potential of youth-led innovation. One outstanding initiative was selected to receive funding and mentorship to bring their idea to life.
