As part of Phase 2 of the TUI FutureShapers project, 13 new mentors were successfully trained to lead the next phase of the initiative. What makes this round especially meaningful is that several of the newly trained mentors were once mentees in Phase 1. Their dedication, growth, and active engagement during the first phase led to their selection as mentors—reflecting the program’s long-term impact and its focus on empowering youth to become leaders in their communities.
The training, led by mentors from Phase 1 who had completed a Training of Trainers, was supported by a coach from Mentor Arabia. This peer-led model reinforces the program’s sustainability and community ownership. Throughout the training, mentors were equipped with essential skills in facilitation, active listening, and youth engagement. They were also introduced to the Youth Peer Mentoring Program, which they will be delivering through a series of 10 group mentoring sessions. These sessions are designed to support and guide their mentees on a journey of personal growth, life skills development, and social responsibility
