The Rising Entrepreneur Award, part of the TUI FutureShapers program in Tunisia, marked a pivotal moment in empowering youth-led innovation and sustainable enterprise. By providing a platform for female entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas, the program not only amplified their voices but also opened opportunities for learning, growth, and turning their ideas into action.
Seven outstanding finalists took the stage to pitch their business ideas to a panel of expert judges, showcasing solutions that address real-world challenges with a strong focus on sustainability, tourism, and social impact. Two winners were awarded seed funding and matched with expert mentors from the TUI Care Foundation, offering them tailored mentoring to bring their businesses to life. This direct support bridges the gap between ideation and implementation, equipping them with the tools, confidence, and connections needed to launch impactful enterprises.
The pitching event has already sparked momentum for youth entrepreneurship in Tunisia, reinforcing the message that with the right support, young changemakers can drive meaningful social, economic, and environmental impact in their communities—and beyond.
