Anthony Abi Zeid, Senior Programs Associate at Mentor Arabia and Coordinator at ISSUP Lebanon, was a speaker at the ‘ISSUP International Conference 2021: Evidence-based Principles for Effective Drug Demand Reduction: Applying Theory to Practice’ in December, 2021. He presented a prevention case study from Lebanon on how the evidence-based principles for prevention have been applied, and challenges that have occurred in the practical country setting. He provided practical examples in implementing ‘Unplugged’ as an evidence-based principle and ‘4Z’ as evidence-informed principle in the Arab region.
