The Beirut Marathon is a yearly event organized by the Beirut Marathon Association. This year, more than 36,000 runners from all over the world participated in the event, running for a variety of causes.

On Sunday the 10th of November 2013, students from the Lebanese American University and the Rosaire School Burj Hammoud came together to run for Mentor Arabia and it’s cause; the cause of protecting children and youth, such as them, from the dangers of drugs.

More than 60 students ran the 5k and 10k races on a beautiful sunny day in Beirut, along with 36,000 other runners of all ages and backgrounds. Not only did they contribute financially to Mentor Arabia’s programs through part of their registration fees, but they also contributed to making this day a memorable one.

They ran united, they ran for the millions of children and youth across the Arab world. They ran for a good cause.
