Cultural and Sports Activities towards Drug Prevention in Tripoli, Lebanon
Mentor Arabia, in partnership with the Charitable Association for Reform and Rehabilitation in Tripoli, supported the implementation of a series of cultural and sports activities during the week of 26 June. The week-long festivities were sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Social Affairs; and the World Health Organization (WHO).

The Beirut Marathon is a yearly event organized by the Beirut Marathon Association. This year, more than 36,000 runners from all over the world participated in the event, running for a variety of causes.
Increasing Awareness Among Young Syrian Refugees in Schools
Mentor Arabia, in partnership with the DELTA NGO, implemented a pilot project in Syrian refugees’ schools in the Mount Lebanon Area, which aimed at increasing the awareness of young refugees about the dangers of drugs and importance of healthy lifestyle.
Awareness Among Young Syrian Refugees in Lebanon
Mentor Arabia signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Social Affairs in Lebanon, which focuses on the empowerment of social workers at the Ministry by developing their knowledge and skills to be able to raise awareness and lead various initiatives on drug prevention and healthy life skills in the different Regions of Lebanon.
Indicative Study On Media Campaigns and Drug Prevention
Mentor Arabia and in partnership with Center for Arab Research and Development (CARD) headed by Dr. Imad Salameh, developed an indicative study on the effects of drug awareness and prevention media campaigns on youth.
Let’s Swim to the Shores of Safety, Addiction Free!
On 22 June, the Civil Council Against Addiction in Saida, in partnership with Mentor Arabia, and under the sponsorship of the Municipality of Saida, organized a swimming race; under the title “Lets’ Swim to the Shores of Safety, Addiction Free”; which aimed at spreading awareness among youth about the dangers of drugs; and encouraging them to pursue a healthy lifestyle, such as swimming.
Media & Drug Prevention Regional Conference in Kuwait
Mentor Arabia, under the patronage of the Minister of Media and Youth Affairs and in partnership with the National Anti-Drugs Media Project in Kuwait (Ghiras), organized a regional conference on "the role of media and social media in drug prevention"; which was held in Kuwait city on the 18th and 19th of March 2015.
