Mentor Arabia participated in the official ceremony held at the Grand Serail on 10 September 2026 to declare 10 September of every year as the National Day for Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Awareness in Lebanon, under the patronage of the President of the Council of Ministers, Mr. Nawaf Salam.
The ceremony was organized by the Ministry of Public Health, through the National Mental Health Programme, in partnership with Embrace and ABAAD, bringing together key stakeholders committed to advancing mental health and suicide prevention in Lebanon.
The declaration represents an important step in strengthening national efforts around suicide prevention and mental health awareness, promoting open dialogue, reducing stigma, and encouraging greater collaboration among relevant stakeholders.
Mentor Arabia’s participation reflects its continued commitment to promoting mental health, prevention, and evidence-informed approaches that support the wellbeing and resilience of young people and communities.
